Kaushal has over 12 years’ experience in spearheading Government Affairs & Public Policy campaigns for Fortune 500 companies in the technology and e-commerce sector, addressing stakeholders at the Federal and State level in India. Kaushal has been extensively engaged in shaping policy opinion through advocacy campaigns on major sectoral policies covering data protection & privacy, electronic manufacturing, e-commerce regulations, intermediary liability, payment & settlement systems etc across policymakers & influencers at center and states.  Kaushal has extensively consulted companies, on aligning their business priorities with the government’s flagship programs such as Digital India, Smart Cities, Startup India, Make in India and Cashless India. Last few years he has been actively engaged with emerging tech startups for building the policy and regulatory regime.

Kaushal has authored some compelling public policy report and articles on data localization, consumer behaviour, shared tech regulation for leading Indian publications and enjoys moderating for policy debates on various forums. Prior to his role at Chase India, Kaushal worked with ASSOCHAM, a leading industry association in the country. He holds an MBA in marketing, and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
