The Earth Dialogues: The Threat of Greenhouse Emissions

The first edition of 'The Earth Dialogues' was held in July 2018, as part of a series of events focused on environmental protection. Taking into consideration India's keenness to play a constructive role in combating the threat of climate change, the discussions pointed to the UN Environment Emissions Gap Report of 2017 and the complexities faced by India as a developing country, which remains highly vulnerable to increased risks from greenhouse emissions. The discussion saw participation from a range of industry experts and policymakers, including Mr. C K Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change; Mr. Naveen Khandelwal, Chief Investment & Strategy Officer, Hero Future; Mr. Sudhir Mishra, Founder and Managing Partner, Trust Legal and Mr. Subir Gupta, Founding Partner, Sustainability Advisors.
